Four Months Old!!!

So, I do not know what happened, but for some reason these pictures would not turn the right way. They are too cute to pass up though.

Jack was having a fussy night, so while I was making dinner Charlie walked around with him and put him to sleep. It was so adorable.

Jack is now Four Months old. It has been absolutely wonderful. I have loved every moment. I am so thankful for my son and our little family. The past month has been filled with many adventures. It began with celebrating my first mother's day and my birthday. We have also had many days at my parents house, family outings to the beach, a few times out to dinner and many days at home just enjoying each other. Here is his enjoying a veggietales movie in the rocking chair. I know this may not be the safest place to have him sit, but I am always right next to him. He loves sitting in this chair.

Jack is still working on rolling over. He has been rolling over a little bit from his stomach to back. However, when he tries to roll from his back to stomach he only gets as far as his side. Then he gets stuck. He loves his bath, but he is starting to grow out of the baby tub. We got him a few bath toys to play with, which is super fun. He is grabbing at everything in sight. And everything ends up in his mouth. His favorite toys are frogs, and his burb rags. It is amazing how much enteratainment a burb rag can provide. We play all day long, and he is all smiles.

We were getting ready for a bath. Jack is really starting to enjoy looking in the mirror. It took a while for him to laugh at himself. I think he was trying to figure it all out.

Jack exercises his lungs all day long. His newest noise are full blown screams. We have a feeling he is going to be a loud child. Our friend Rosie is staying with us this week. I have been trying to tame the lungs in the morning, but he loves to talk so there is not much I can do. What a goofy smile, Jack.


His sleeping habits are amazing. I am so thankful. He takes a few really good naps each day. Today he is actually taking a nap in his crib. That is a new thing. We will see if today is a fluke or if we can make this a habit. However, he is a great sleeper at night. We put him down at 9, then I wake him up for a quick feeding at 10 and then he is back down until 7:30 or so. I am so thankful that I am able to get a full night sleep. It has really been amazing and made each day so much more enjoyable.

We go in for our four month check up next week, so we will see how much he as officially grown, but I know it is a lot. We are seeing so much more of his personality and loving each minute. He is going to be the life of the party and he is totally layed back like his Daddy.
