So here I am at 39&1/2 weeks. I am due on Monday, January 31st. So, I guess you could say our baby will be joining us any day now. We are both so super excited and cannot wait to hold our little one and to know what it is going to be. I think the anticipation of not knowing is really catching up to us and making it even harder to wait. I have had very slow progress over the past two weeks, but I am trying to remind myself that that does not mean that my labor will be as slow. I am trying to occupy my time with projects, but at the same time I don't want to get too deeply involved in a project and create a mess around my house. I am very thankful my brother came into town last night, so I will be able to spend some time with him. So, I guess that is all for now. There is not much to be said. I would appreciate all your prayers as this day rapidly approaches and we become first time parents. We are really excited to see how the Lord will use us and we are so thankful for this blessing. Keep posted and we will let you know all the details once the baby arrives.

Due dates are hard to handle. Great, if you have your baby before the date, but going over is physiologically so hard. My midwife told me a woman's gustation can be anywhere between 36 to 44 week. Not so encouraging when you are a week "over-due."
