April!!!!

April has been a very busy month. We have had crazy weather. Sun, snow, rain and wind. It makes for a very interesting spring, but I think it may be one of my favorite months of the year. Each day with Jack becomes easier and easier. Jack is sleeping through the night and I am starting to feel a little more coherent each day. We have started a very good routine each day. I love this because I am very big on daily routines. I feel a little more in control. He is also getting more interactive, which is so much fun. I have some pictures to share from this past month.

Family picture. We went to Hannah's birthday party and were enjoying the sunshine as Hannah learned how to ride her new bike.

Hannah, Jack and Aunt Michelle

Jack absolutely loves Hannah. She also loves him so much. Each time she seems him it is important for her to get a chance to hold Jack. It was so much fun to be at her birthday. Hannah turned 5 this year. It has been a lot of fun to watch her grow. Hannah was born just a few weeks after Charlie and I met, so he has been very invovled in her life from the day she was born. She is so special to us both. I am amazed as home fast she has grown. She is a wonderful little girl who is so thoughtful and loving.

One of my favorite pictures of Jack. He smiles all the time. He is the most talkative when Charlie is around. In the morning after my first feeding I take Jack to our bed and he talks and cuddles with us for a little while before Charlie has to go to work. Then when Charlie comes home from work Jack is super happy.

Jack loves bathtime. He is starting to splash a whole lot. This is his cute little bathrobe. I was taking pictures and well, did not put a diaper on. I bet you could all guess what happened right after I took this picture. What a mess.

My son, the great sleeper. We tried to swaddle him the first few weeks of his life. I had not idea why he would get so frustrated every time he woke up. Now we know why. He needs his space.

We had my mom and dad over the night before Easter to dye Easter Eggs.I know he is onlya few months old, but we have to start the traditions early. Jack was so tired, so we ended up putting him to bed before we finished.

Easter morning we gave Jack just a little Easter basket. He later took a nap with this little frog.

OUR FAMILY PICTURES:

We had a wonderful Easter. After church we went to my parent's house for the day. The entire family came over, as well as a family from church (The Nunns). We had a wonderful dinner and a great big Easter egg hunt. The hunt had to be inside because of the rain, but the kids had a great time. Charlie helped Jack with his basket. Easter is such a great holiday. One of my favorite. It is wonderful to celebrate our risen Savior. Charlie and I are really looking forward to teach Jack about the meaning of Easter and all that Christ has given for us. I pray each day that Jack will grow in knowledge of the Lord and serve Him each day of his life.
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter!!!
