Fall Adventures!!!!!

One of the best things about not working right now is that when Charlie has his random day off in the middle of the week, I actually get to spend time with him. He works so many Saturdays that it was difficult to find time to spend a day together when I was teaching. However, now we just enjoy our day together when it comes. Last week Charlie had Thursday off, so we traveled up to Apple Hill for the day. However, before I fill you in on the trip I must let you know of something amazing that happened that morning before we left.
Wednesday we took Charlie's car in to find out what was wrong, since the check engine light was on. We found out it was the catalytic converter and if you know anything about this piece of the car, it is expensive to replace. We were a little shocked and new there was no way we could afford the repair. Well, the next morning we got a call from the mechanic and he told us that the part was under recall and we were going to get it fixed, free of charge. What a blessing. We know that this was not at all possible without the Lord. He blessed us and we really do want to give Him all the glory. God still provides our every need and we must continue to look to Him in every area of our lives. What a reminder it was and how important it is to turn to the Lord for everything. He does want what is best for us. Praise the Lord!!!!!!
After news like that, our day was off to a perfect start. We were even more excited about our day together. We love every detail of this trip, and it just so happened to be a beautiful day. One of our favorite parts of the day are the carmel apples. They really are the best I have ever had and we won't eat them anywhere else. We have created a tradition of getting a carmel apple and sitting by the lake watching the children fish. We also walk around looking at the vendors and eating delicious apples. I was craving apples that day so we came home with a big box full. I will eat all of them. This is a favorite fall tradition and we look forward to next year when we will get to start taking our family. Here are a few pictures from the trip. In these pictures I am just about 28 weeks along. We are getting so excited with the rapid approach of this child. We feel so blessed and anticipate the day we get to meet our young child. We are really looking forward to being parents and starting our own family.

Okay, so I like my Caramel apples with a little fudge on the outside, and no I did not eat all of that.
