Painting!!!

Yesterday my mom and I spent all day painting the bathroom and finishing the trim in the house. I am happy to say that we have completed all but four door frames and the touch up. I am so excited that this part of the house is just about finished. We get our carpet on Tuesday and then we will be cleaning, moving in and starting to get settled. Yes there is still so much more to do, but it is starting to come together and I am looking forward to actually living in the house we have owned for one month. Though we are thoroughly exhausted, it has been a fun adventure.
The thing I was most excited about for having a house was to have a place to entertain. I love to have people over and host things at my house, but our apartment was just so small and we could never fit very many people at a time. No we have a house with a good size living room and a great deck outside. So since I am so excited about all of this we are waisting no time. May 1st we are having a birthday party/open house. May 22nd I am hosting my sister's bridal shower and then that following wednesday all of the groomsmen and Chris will be our house guests for the weekend of the wedding. I am really looking forward to sharing my house with people and allowing God to use it for His glory.
Well, my body is aching and I have laundry to do, so I am relaxing today, doing laundry, enjoying church and fellowship afterwards. It should be a good day to recover before another crazy week. I hope you are all doing well.
